Soma Records has been known as a leader of the electronic music scene for decades, however their website fails to reflect their legacy, artistry and influence. In this project we worked on creating digital experience that is as immersive and forward-thinking as the record label itself.









Every design element was carefully considered to reflect the label’s energy and innovation. The design is minimalist yet distinct, balancing monochromatic aesthetic with structured layout and raw, unposed imagery.
The layout of the website is build on a structured grid that ensures clear hierarchy and seamless flow between the website content. However, in the more artistic pages we embrace a more fluid and expressive structure.
The artists page highlights the talents behind the label. The page is designed with asymmetric layout that creates visually dynamic and unique feel. 
Each artist has a dedicated pop-up showcasing their bio and key releases. This approach keeps the user experience streamlined, allowing users to explore an artist’s journey without leaving the page.

The new website introduces an elevated shopping experience that aligns seamlessly with Soma’s brand identity. The E-commerce section was refined with intuitive navigation, improved functionality and streamlined checkout flow that insures smooth purchases.

The mobile version of the website is designed to deliver the same immersive experience while following the mobile interface best practices. The structure is fully adapted for mobile devices, ensuring that content remains engaging and easy to navigate.
The redesign solves a key challenge, it transforms once a generic website into a powerful instrument, reinforcing the label’s identity and immersing visitors in its world. The improved structure enhances user engagement, while the refined e-commerce experience makes discovering and purchasing music and merchandise effortlessly.
